The Buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping puppy/dog
parasite free and up to date with vaccinations, proper nutrition, which consists of a good quality
professional feed given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times. The Buyer
promises to provide a safe environment for the puppy/dog, and never allow the puppy/dog to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision. The Seller strongly recommends that the puppy/dog be micro chipped in order to facilitate his/her return if lost or stolen.
The Seller guarantees this puppy/dog to be of sound health and temperament at the time of sale. A health record of all vaccinations and worming will be provided by the Seller. The Buyer agrees to take this puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian of his/her choice within 72 hours
for a physical examination. Should puppy/dog be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Seller, the puppy/dog may, upon signed written diagnosis from
a licensed veterinarian, be returned immediately for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping
not included.
The Seller provides a one year health guarantee against a congenital/hereditary disease that would cause the puppy/dog to be unable without reasonable medical intervention, to live a quality life as a companion. If the puppy/dog would be diagnosed with such a disease the
Buyer must provide the Seller with a written diagnoses from a licensed veterinarian, including
any and all test results, x-rays etc., so Seller can use this information to consult with own veterinarian. Buyer agrees to a second opinion if requested by Seller. Once the Buyer and Seller’s veterinarian has confirmed a diagnosis and determined that the puppy would be unable to live a quality life as a companion, the Seller will then replace the puppy/dog with a puppy/dog
of similar quality and sex as soon as one becomes available. Buyer must return original puppy/dog to Seller at Buyer’s expense. Seller does not offer any refund of purchase price or veterinary expenses. If your puppy/dog was shipped, Seller will split the cost of the replacement puppy/dog’s airfare.
The Buyer agrees not to use this animal for breeding and agrees to have it spayed/neutered
at the age recommended by their veterinarian (usually 6 months of age). This puppy/dog will be on limited A.K.C. registration. AKC limited registration papers will be held by the seller until written proof from a licenced veterinarian is provided to the seller. Once written proof from the Veterinarian has been received. The AKC papers will be mailed within 4-6 weeks to the buyer. Puppy must be spayed or neutered by nine months of age. If the puppy is not spayed or neutered by nine months of age the buyer agrees to give ownership and possession of the puppy back to the seller. Any and all expenses incurred by the seller to do so will be at the expense of the buyer.
If at anytime the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this puppy/dog, the Seller is to be
notified and given the first option of resuming full ownership in order to locate a new home for the puppy/dog. No refunds are given. The puppy/dog will be returned with all A.K.C. papers. Should any circumstances arise that effects the quality of the life of this dog, the Seller is to be informed so that they may participate in determining the future of the puppy/dog. The Seller reserves the right to approve/prohibit any transfer of this animal to a third party. Under no circumstances will this puppy/dog be sold, leased, traded or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter, auction and or similar facility.
The Buyer agrees to contact the Seller immediately if any questions or concerns arise about the
dog, such as diet, health, housing or training. The Buyer agrees to keep the Seller informed of any treatment as it occurs. This provides the Seller with important feedback and information on the health of the puppy/dog for future generations.
It is understood at the time of sale that this is a pet quality puppy/dog and it is a representative of its breed. It is structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion. Training classes are recommended for a happy relationship between the dog and family. The Buyer agrees to register puppy/dog using the kennel name of Monarch.
If your puppy/dog is being shipped to you from the Seller, all expenses (airfare, crate, bedding, water
& food bowls, toys, health certificate, flight insurance and the purchase price of the puppy/dog )
must be paid in full 14 days before puppy is shipped.
The preceding paragraphs contain conditions established for the well being of the dog and to uphold and maintain the reputation of quality that Monarch Havanese has established. The Buyer’s agreements will continue for the dog’s life and the Seller will have the right to enforce the agreements.
